The CCF offers young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities. We aim to develop their qualities of leadership, self-reliance and initiative, leadership and self-discipline and offers unique opportunities for outward-bound activities such as sailing, gliding, orienteering and parachuting.

The CCF is an educational partnership between the school (Royal Russell) and the Ministry of Defence, and our CCF includes Army and Royal Air Force sections.

Royal Russell CCF was established in 1916 by The Headmaster at the time Major C A Roberts.
